Nieto, Nicole

Nicole Nieto manages the Program on InterGroup Relations at the Multicultural Center.  She coordinates the InterGroup Dialogue (IGD) courses and co-curricular dialogues.  She also oversees the faculty lecture series and The Diversity Leadership Transcript Program.  Nicole has been at OSU since 2005. Prior to arriving at OSU, Nicole was Assistant Director of International Student and Scholar Services at The University of Alabama. In 2005, Nicole received a PREVENT grant from the CDC.  In 2008, she received a $10,000 grant for a women and voting project from The Women's Fund of Central Ohio.  Nicole received her M.A. in Women’s Studies from The University of Alabama in 2002 and is currently enrolled in the Ph.D. program in Women’s Studies and Folklore at OSU.  Her research focuses on culinary narratives in post-Katrina New Orleans and domestic altars.
